Familiarity Breeds Contempt…

Tonight starts Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish religion. It is a Day of Atonement where you fast and after enduring starvation, you will hopefully be written in the Good Book.

No matter your religious beliefs, tomorrow we should all pray for world peace, cleansing our mind and body and eradicating the Color Orange from the U.S. color spectrum.

Contemplate the phrase “Familiarity Breeds Contempt.”

This particular expression has been rearing its’ ugly head of late.

Shouldn’t familiarity breed a deeper personal relationship?

Let’s face it, friends, acquaintances, people on the street, in the subway, at sporting events, co-workers, husbands, wives…all evoke  contempt.

Let’s examine the glob in the White House.

A relationship with Agent Orange is not on most Americans bucket list, but he is here so deal.

That being said we have had the unfortunate opportunity to get to know this narcissist better.

Most Americans want to step away from this contemptuous relationship.

A new Quinnipiac Poll shows that 52% of Americans think that Trump Is Unfit To Be President.

Throw in the self-involved, donor dedicated Republican Congress and realize that only 15% of Americans think that Congress Is doing a good job.

Over the weekend, let’s all try to be less contemptuous.

I will try not to spew at the Entitlementors who drunk walk all over NYC sidewalks with their faces aglow from iPhone illumination.

I wish everyone a non-contemptuous weekend.

If the NY Giants lose again on Sunday I may not be able to remain committed and non-contemptuous.
