Rough day.

Everything went awry except my hair looked very good.

Reality sucks.

Allow me to send loving vibes to the Newman clan. The patriarch is ailing and I am deeply saddened by the news.

A cocktail was a necessity so we headed to our Cheers, Landmarc with Hannah, a lovely woman and highly capable bartender with great taste in wine.

The bitterness of the day started to recede after some amazing wine from Robert Craig’s Napa winery.

Their cabernet, Affinity, is top notch accompanied by a delicious plate of protein.

Here’s the wining formula…a pick me up, good food for the soul, an attentive friend, lovingly accompanied by a caring, concerned date who in reality is my husband of long-standing.
