Endless Love…

It’s Saturday afternoon and I am watching the Yankee game.

The anxiety never vanishes.

I always have my husband nearby to smooth my ruffled feathers and make me cognizant of the fact that I need to lighten up.

Prior to mainlining my sports addiction and keeping with Saturday tradition, we attended the always animated and spirited Emily’s kick ass Saturday morning spin class.

We left enervated and sweaty and strolled over to Bread for coffee and remarkably, did not indulge in one of their outstanding almond croissants…it would be a travesty to negate all the hard work.

Afterwards, we walked the dogs in Central Park and talked nonstop.

The point to all this chatter is that we rarely get tired of each other.

I experienced a moment on Friday night when I met up with David on the corner of 6th Avenue and 29th Street.

He was coming from a business appointment.

We were meeting up for a dinner date.

We had not been together for 6 hours and I felt the thrill of seeing him stroll up the Avenue toward me.

We kissed, embraced and walked off holding hands.

After 32 years of marriage and 4 years of begging me to marry him before we officially united (!) we still have a magical connection.

Not bad…actually, well done team.
