Dishwasher Safe…

Late night reading.

I am well versed on many topics since sleeping after 1am has escaped me.

The other night I was perusing the New York Times and came across an article on surprising dishwasher safe items that you always thought must be handwashed.

Wine glasses, plastic spatulas, plastic cutting boards are all dishwasher approved…who knew.

The biggest surprise was sex toys.

Although I never gave this item any thought, it peaked my curiosity so I read on.

You can deep-clean non-mechanized 100% silicone, stainless steel, and glass (glass?!) toys by placing them on the top rack of the dishwasher after surface-cleaning.

And, a hygiene note…keep in mind that it is not advised to use this method if you share the dishwasher with people other than your sexual partner(s).

I feel as if I have further educated my already erudite audience.

Can’t wait to use the dishwasher on my cutting boards and wine glasses.

Be advised to continue to refrain from placing sharp knives, wooden objects, blenders, cast iron and regular pots and pans, can openers and baking sheets in the dishwasher.

Enjoy getting valuable time back now that you will not be languishing over a steamy sink and have more time to indulge in personal pleasure.
