Big Reveal…the holiday windows debuted yesterday in New York City on a cloudless, sunny, brisk November day.
In my humble opinion, Bergdorf Goodman, the one of a kind specialty store on the corner of 57th Street and 5th Avenue, blows all other windows out of the water every holiday season. They are always elegant, detailed and creative.
The theme this year celebrates a multitude of annual holidays including, Thanksgiving, New Year’s Eve, Arbor Day, 4th of July and Valentine’s Day.
Cross 5th Avenue, you arrive at Tiffany’s, the windows embellished in diamonds, rubies and emeralds.
Strolling a bit further down 5th, guess who’s coming to dinner…a celebrity driven dinner party at Henri Bendel’s between 55th and 56th Street…
Next stop…Cartier at the corner of 52nd Street and 5th Avenue…
5th Avenue opens up at Rockefeller Center. The soldier guards the soon to be unveiled Rockefeller Christmas Tree…
Cross 42nd Street and you arrive at Lord & Taylor between 38th and 39th Street and 5th Avenue…
Cross over to Madison Avenue and take a gander at the explosion of lights at Barney’s, corner of 61st and Mad…
An invigorating trek across Central Park on a perfect fall day to the Upper West Side and the changing lights at Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle and West 59th Street…
A thrilling, uplifting journey…Happy Holidays!!
