Broadening Our Horizons…

2 broads at the Broad.

Experienced a brilliant cultural interlude at the Los Angeles Broad Museum located near the LA Music Center.

I went online and grabbed two tickets to the Yayoi Kusama Infinity Mirrored Room-The Souls of Millions of Light Years Away which opened March 2nd.

A maximum of two people are allowed in the room at a time and limited to a 60 second visit.

The view is thrilling…similar to taking in Paris at night or being on the top of Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles after sunset.

The exhibits were impressive, as well with sections of the museum dedicated to Cindy Sherman, Kara Walker, Jeff Koons, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

The broads then enjoyed lunch at an outdoor cafe and celebrated Cathy’s birthday which usually dominates the entire month of March.

Art and old friends, a stunning combination.

The Broad 221 South Grand Avenue Los Angeles, California. Open Wednesday-Friday 11am-5pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm. Order tickets online. Parking garage located under museum
