Over the weekend we celebrated our daughter’s birthday.
It was a multi-day event.
Friday, during the monsoon that hit the New York area, we had a date for High Tea at Tiffany’s.
What a fabulous place.
Tiffany’s flagship store which has been anchored at Fifth Avenue and 57th Street since 1940 and the inspiration for the iconic Breakfast at Tiffany’s and a plethora of other films, photo shoots and TV shows, is completely renovated.
It is stunning…bright, sophisticated. The jewelry, glassware, china are all creatively displayed. The Tiffany blue is accented throughout with original well known artist paintings adorning the walls.
Take the tour:
Our 4pm rendezvous at the Blue Box Cafe with famed Chef Daniel Boulud helming the restaurant was a fantasy come true.
A review to follow. I’ll just mention the fabulous ambiance, decor, service and we were generously treated to champagne to mark the birthday celebration.
A drive by at Tiffany’s is now a must for NYC residents and visitors.
You can fulfill your diamond fantasy in lush surroundings even if it’s only a brief engagement.
