For the non-sports fan you can stop reading or perhaps join in and experience the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat, bond with folks you probably would never high five or hug. It’s painfully amazing.
I am girding my loins for the Yankees playoff game tonight.
I am going with my beloved, well informed sports fan daughter and her friend who turned out to be an extremely well behaved Cleveland Guardians supporter.
It will be in the 40’s, but the excitement and hopefully, a win will keep me warm.
It turned out to be a phenomenal evening, especially with my daughter who bought me a Yankees Post Season cap.
The trains were on time, Monument Park, where all the retired Yankee greats are immortalized, was an easy in, the seats stellar.
And, the New York Yankees won 6-3.
