I did the unthinkable.
I drove to Beverly Hills on a Sunday to shop at Gucci.
My Gucci gift card was burning a hole in my wallet.
It had been close to 2 years and I was ready for a retail therapy session.
What a mistake.
Every designer store on Rodeo had a long outdoor waiting line of scantily clad tourists.
I had on cut offs, a linen shirt and I was way overdressed.
I had on top shelf accessories. My husband was in linen yacht chic and not one salesperson offered assistance.
When one Guccette finally did she was incredibly dismissive.
Screw Gucci.
They aren’t even trending…I heard from a reliable source at Bergdorf Goodman in NYC that Gucci is on the outs and Bergdorf actually dropped the line.
Living in Coronaville I am thoroughly delighted with Old Navy and there is no ‘tude.
