Let’s cut to the chase.
There is an excellent restaurant in Delray Beach, Florida.
We have had a home there for decades and for many of those years there were very few good restaurants, charging big prices for mediocrity.
You had to drive the hour to Miami to find fine food.
Delray’s main street, Atlantic Avenue, has changed dramatically over the past few years.
A plethora of restaurants, boutiques and even Anthropologie have replaced the old fashion brassiere and corset shops.
Cut432 is the real deal.
The company that owns Cut432 is establishing a dining dynasty on the Avenue.
Their mexican restaurant, El Camino, is another favorite. They have the best Happy Hour and an awesome brisket quesadilla.
But I digress.
Here’s the meat of the story.
It was Queen E’s birthday and I booked ahead.
Cut432, a modern twist on the American steakhouse, is always packed.
The chic interior has an open facade that includes an outside dining area with high powered AC. Inside there is an appealing bar.
Chandeliers sparkle above the crowd.
We had a geographically desirable table up front.
We kicked off the birthday celebration with Sammariva Prosecco ($12) and iced cold vodka martinis ($12).
Tagging along were some scrumptious fresh Kusshi oysters ($3 each).
We shared a Caesar for three ($12) that was fresh, crispy and cold.
I ordered the 20 oz. Bone-In Ribeye to share with my mother. It was tender and delicious ($49).We took home enough for another meal.
David’s Wild King Salmon was fabulous…perfectly prepared and very flavorful ($29).
The sides are terrific at Cut. We selected creamy, delectable Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes ($8/11).
The jumbo asparagus were flavorful, firm and fresh ($8/11).
I also highly recommend the Lobster Mac & Cheese ($18).
For dessert, the server brought over a large slice of fresh cheese cake with a candle.
Even with COPD Queen E. extinguished the birthday candle (and cake) in short order.
I admire the fact that Cut432 calls the next day to inquire about your dining experience.
I have never been a dissatisfied customer.
Surf, sand, sunshine and Cut432…who could ask for anything more?!
