My family of three just works.

It is not a coincidence. We work at being respectful, understanding, mixed in with an abundance of laughter.

Sunday we jumped into Courtny’s car and headed for Angel Stadium in Anaheim to see our beloved Yankees play the Los Angeles Angels.

My husband took one for the team…not sure he shares our New York sports obsession.

Blue skies prevailed, but the temperature in Anaheim was closing in on 100 degrees.

We donned our Yankee caps and copious amounts of sunscreen.

Courtny and I researched the best side to sit on in Angel Stadium, which baseline gets shade first, etc.

We failed.

I ended up with Farmer John napkins stuck to my body, attempting to deflect the harmful rays.

The Yankees lost even thought they had ample opportunities to win.

Oh well, it was a lovely Sunday afternoon and I am happy to report that the family unit is thriving.

The Yankees may have lost, but the Lubov/Catzel clan are total winners.
