Hide and Seek…

No pot of diamonds at the end of the rainbow.

Yesterday, I spent 7 hours cleaning and searching for my good jewelry.

I hid it so well that it has completely vanished.

There goes my daughter’s dowry (I better start herding goats)and my safety net when income dries up.

I hate to blame my mother, but she has been sequestering valuables for at least 70 years.

I guess I have a genetic predisposition for hide and seek.

In the meantime, I cannot sleep as the loss of property haunts me in my sleep as well as every waking moment.

Diamonds used to be my best friend and now they are terrorizing me.

I should have invested in mutuals rather than superficial baubles.

Lesson learned?!
