Just Another Day In America…

When is the madness going to stop?

No one is listening to President Obama or the legion of Americans screaming for new gun legislation.

Gun violence has become routine.

This was the 6th mass shooting in America THIS WEEK…come on!

As many of you know, I just returned from a trip to Europe where I spent time in France. Before I left people constantly asked if I was going to cancel my trip, wasn’t I afraid to visit Paris after the November 13th terrorist massacre?

Why would I be afraid to go to France where gun laws are stringent.

America is much scarier. Extremists are on U.S. no fly lists, but they and mentally unstable people can buy a gun at any time in the good ‘ole U S of A.

Instead of spending millions investigating Hillary Cllinton’s emails invest the time and money on  legislating new gun laws.

Politicians, get off your hypocritical self-centered asses and actually legislate a law that would protect Americans and enhance our way of life.

Clearly, U.S. citizen’s elected representatives are not listening.

Senate Republicans voted yesterday against barring suspected terrorists, felons and the mentally ill from getting guns, parroting National Rifle Association arguments that doing so would strip some innocent people of their constitutional rights to gun access.

The NRA should not be allowed to donate to election campaigns.

4 million members are holding a population of 323 million hostage. Talk about a terrorist organization.

There are now approximately 300 million guns in America which averages 1 per person. How about trading the guns in for books or computers to educate these violent morons.

Honestly, what is worse than seeing children massacred. I actually believed that we would all finally wake up and do what is right after the Sandy Hook massacre in 2012…but, no.

All those precious children died for naught and now we have massacres on a daily basis…355 attacks this year alone and we still have 27 days left. During the holidays some lunatic with a gun will get depressed and react.

Death with your morning Starbucks…people whine about red cups without decorations, but they don’t get worked over innocent people beginning killed in cold blood every fucking day,

What is wrong with this country?! I am very concerned about climate change, but we all may not be alive long enough to see it ravage America the way gun violence is doing.

Worried about the future of America?

Gun deaths are surpassing car accidents as the leading cause of death in 15-24 year-olds.

This sport is costing us $229 billion dollars annually…this includes $8.6 billion in direct spending from emergency care and other medical expenses, court and prison costs as well as $221 billion in less tangible costs, which include impacts on productivity and quality of life for victims and their communities.

Wake up America. This is not a partisan issue. It is a matter that touches all of us and must be contained. Don’t get angry or violent, get motivated.

This country has a track record of making change happen.

Let’s blow the world away with our power to make change.
